FUNERAL arrangements have been announced following the death of Weymouth musician Tom Caulfield.
Tom, 32, was discovered at his Wyke Regis home on Easter Sunday, and his sudden and untimely death has shocked the community.
His family, including wife Rachel, paid tribute to him in the Echo. Scores of tributes have also been paid on social media, and a memorial was set up on the harbourside outside the Royal Oak where he played regularly.
Tom’s family has announced the funeral will be held on Friday, May 8, at Weymouth Pavilion at 1pm followed by private cremation. Formal dress is not necessary and guests should attend ‘as Tom would have known you’.
Donations can be made to the Steve Charles Help a Friend Fund via Rose Funeral Service at Wyke Regis.
Tom supported the Dorchester-based fund when he joined a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro last year.
Tom was a singer and guitarist who performed solo as well as in bands including folk duo The Victorian Barbers.
