DORSET Wildlife Trust’s (DWT) Fine Foundation Chesil Beach Centre is holding a series of events with local authors to celebrate the wildlife, history and lesser-known stories of Weymouth and Portland.

Visitors to the intimate ‘tea with an author’ events will be hearing from the authors about their books and will also have a chance to ask them questions whilst enjoying a cup of tea and slice of cake from the Taste Café in the centre.

On Wednesday, September 30 at 2pm, Julie Musk, who is the author of Lesser Known Weymouth and owner of Roving Press will be giving a talk.

Gary Biltcliffe, author of The Spirit of Portland will be at the Chesil Centre on Wednesday, October 21 at 2.00pm.
