A man has been taken to hospital after a car flipped over in a crash on Weymouth seafront.
The incident happened at 6pm this evening close to Brunswick Terrace and the Pier Bandstand.
Nick Stubbs, who runs the Beachcomber Guest House on the Esplanade, got this video of the incident:
The road is now clear and traffic can pass through, although there is still a police car at the scene.
Ambulance and firefighters also attended.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue service said they were called to a collision shortly after 6pm this evening.
The service attended to stabilise a vehicle.
Speaking at the scene, a spokesman for Dorset Police said that two vehicles were involved in the collision, a black Mazda 3 and a Peugeot 308. The Mazda flipped over.
Onlookers said they heard a 'loud bang'.
The spokesman for Dorset Police said: "An elderly gentleman was taken to hospital as a precaution."
