Road closed after crash involving motorbike
A BIKER was taken to hospital with leg injuries after a crash in Weymouth.
It happened near to Swannery Bridge just after 12.30pm.
Police shut the A354 Westwey Road between Westham crossroads and the harbour crossroad while emergency services worked.
First Dorset Service 1 was diverted via the town bridge and North Quay while the road was closed.
The road was reopened at 1.03pm.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said it was a minor injury crash, adding: "The motorcyclist sustained leg and arm injuries."
The biker was taken to Dorset County Hospital as a precaution, officers said.
