A MAN who committed a serious assault has gone on the run.

Police want help to trace Aaron Robinson, 25, who was released from prison on Tuesday, August 23 after serving part of an 11-year prison sentence for serious assault.

Since his release Aaron has failed to comply with the notification requirements of his licence. He is now wanted by police.

Detective Superintendent Chris Naughton, of Dorset Police, said: “I am releasing a photo of Aaron Robinson in the hope that someone will know of his whereabouts.

“He was residing in Weymouth following his release from prison, but also has connections to Bridport and the Axminster and Buckfastleigh areas of Devon.

“While we have no information that Aaron presents a direct risk to the public, anyone who sees Aaron should not approach him but immediately contact Dorset Police on 999.”

Aaron is white, five feet six inches tall, of medium build and with short brown hair and hazel-coloured eyes.

Anyone who sees Aaron should call Dorset Police immediately on 999.
