Officers trying to locate a Weymouth man who is wanted for breaching his licence conditions are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Shaun Lewis, who is 24, was serving a three-year sentence for causing grievous bodily harm when he was released from prison on Friday 18 September 2015.

Shaun has failed to comply with his licence conditions and is now wanted by police for recall to prison.

He is white, five feet nine inches tall, of medium build and has short brown hair and sometimes has a beard.

He is also known to frequent the Bournemouth and Poole areas of Dorset.

Detective Sergeant Paul Auger, of Dorset Police, said: “We have made a number of active enquiries to locate Shaun Lewis since he breached his licence on Friday 7 October 2016.

“I am now releasing his photo as I am hoping that someone knows where he may be.

“Anyone who sees Shaun should not approach him but immediately contact Dorset Police.”
