Osprey Leisure Centre is holding an Open Day from 11am to 8pm to celebrate its 10th anniversary, giving people a chance to take part in a number of taster sessions, including archery, indoor cycling, power hoop and badminton.

There will also be demonstration matches from the Weymouth and Portland Polo Club, a taster session with the Weymouth Canoe lifeguards and an opportunity to see West Dorset indoor cricket league matches.

*TRY your hand at playing folk music with a Folk Band Workshop at Digby Hall in Sherborne on Sunday from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.

In a set of three workshops, learn tunes and chords, experiment with arrangements and enjoy an informal performance. Laurel Swift is an inspiring and experienced workshop leader, who will help you build confidence to learn and play new tunes by ear.

The workshop costs £12 on the door.
