NEWSTEAD Road was closed this afternoon after a car crashed into a post.
A black Seat Leon hit the post at the crossing point near Asda at around 4.15pm.
Newstead Road was closed at the Boot Hill junction and police attended the scene.
The road later reopened and traffic is flowing normally.
