ALBUM REVIEW
JESSE & JOY - JESSE & JOY
POP pure and simple in dual languages the order of the day with Latin-American siblings Jesse & Joy.
Opener Echoes of Love has an Adele style epicness to it and has received plenty of radio airplay.
The strength of Joy's voice makes these tracks stand out but the ballads sound somewhat recycled.
Where this Mexico City-born pair come into their own is when they sing in Spanish.
No Soy Una De Esas, a track resplendent with horns and exuberance.
And having just won a Grammy award for Un Besito Más, a song about loss, there's certainly more to come from this talented act.
