A WEYMOUTH band which has experienced massive success as a tribute band is returning to their home town to perform a very special gig on their 10th Anniversary Tour.

And Finally... Phil Collins comes to Weymouth Pavilion on Saturday July 30.

Now established nationally as what is said to be the UK's Number One Tribute to Phil Collins and Genesis, And Finally... are set to commemorate their 10 years of performing with their long-awaited 10th Anniversary Tour at Weymouth Pavilion.

And Finally.. have just recently returned to the UK after three incredibly successful performances in France.

Their first performance took place at the La Cigale in Paris, whilst a further show was held in Saulieu after the band was endorsed by the family of celebrity chef, Bernard Loiseau. The final show was held at the popular Expo venue in Auxerre.

Last year the band was named Phil Collins' number one tribute band in the UK at the National Tribute Awards. And Finally... had previously tried for many years to break into the French music scene.

They are now looking forward to going back to their roots by performing at the pavilion.

The band's four local members are producer and drummer Tim Harper, backing vocalists Eddie Harper and Rhea Soulsby and percussionist and drummer Barney Stevens.

Tim Harper, who lives in Osmington Mills, first took the show to perform at the Pavilion in 2007.

He said: "This is where it all began ten years ago with our first ever theatre performance, and it's fitting we should come back as part of our anniversary celebrations."

Performing arts teacher and marketing manager, Rhea Soulsby, has lived in Weymouth her entire life and trained in performing arts at Weymouth College.

She said: "Being a member of WOW for eight years meant I spent most of my childhood at the pavilion. It's such a touching experience to come back to this fantastic stage as a professional performer. Everything I know about performing and the industry begun in Weymouth. I'm so grateful to so many people for their time, support and belief."

Barney Stevens has lived in and around Weymouth for many years and has performed in local musical theatre productions with WOW and WOS. He trained under the guidance of his grandfather who was a musician for the BBC before moving on to study music at Weymouth College.

He said: "I have performed many times at the Weymouth Pavilion but have only performed once previously on the main stage. Most of the performances have been from the orchestra pit but the atmosphere every time has been amazing. I can't wait to play my local theatre and see some friendly faces in the crowd."

In And Finally the 'two drummer' line up remains an integral part of the act, with stunning vocals, vibrant choreography, smart outfits and a huge variety of songs, the band faithfully re-create all the classic hits from the Phil Collins and Genesis timeless back- catalogue.

In 2017, they present a brand new show, which is even closer to that immense Phil Collins production. Each member shows obvious passion and excitement for performing, an infectious quality that provides an intimate yet lively evening of entertainment.

This is their biggest UK tour to date, returning to as many of last year's theatres as possible and extending their coverage to many new venues. *And Finally, Weymouth Pavilion, Sunday July 30, 7.30 pm. Call the box office for tickets.
