WEYMOUTH'S vibrant music scene has produced many great bands over the years and we must thank Ken Pearce for this wonderful photo showing The Weymouth Allstars reunited.

We previously featured some of Mick's memories of life in a band and enjoyed his reminiscing about life in The Nightflyers.

Mick, of Wyke Regis, played in local bands for 37 years and gave up in 1997. He began as vocalist for The Nightflyers, a five piece band which would gig around Weymouth and Dorchester and even played Salisbury City Hall.

The Weymouth Allstars must have shared a bandstand with Mick on hundreds of occasions over the years.

This photo of the members reunited is from 2012.

The Weymouth Allstars were formed in 1955 and played all over the south of England until the mid 90s. They reformed for a 'special' for millennium eve, December 31, 1999, at Weymouth Pavilion.

In the back row are Phil Coomber (keyboards), Graham Morton (bass guitar, vocals), Mark Ward (keyboards), Doug Cooper (drums), Terry Cheeseman (guitar), Phil Moore (drums).

In the from row are Ken Pearce (trombone, percussion, vocals), Mike Snelling (saxes, clarinet, vocals), Sandi Snelling (vocals), Denise Butcher (vocals), Pat Bell (saxes, vocals).
