HERE are two famous faces photographed together at the Kingswood Hotel in Weymouth.

Guitarist Robbie McIntosh is photographed here with singer-songwriter Gordon Haskell.

Both are local to Dorset and Robbie, who has played with Tom Jones, Paul McCartney and The Pretenders, lives in Weymouth.

Gordon was born in a nursing home near Bournemouth on April 27 1946. He has returned to the UK after a period living in Greece.

The former pub singer's smash-hit record How Wonderful You Are was a surprise Christmas hit in 2001 and was just pipped to the post for the Christmas number one record by Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman's Somethin' Stupid.

The song surpassed the Beatles’ Hey Jude and Frank Sinatra’s My Way to become the most-requested song on BBC Radio 2.
