Sainsburys is recalling a batch of vegetable spring rolls after they were found to have prawns in them.

The supermarket is specifically recalling its 10 Vegetable Spring Roll Selection because it contains because of the seafood not mentioned on the label.

This therefore poses a risk to those who are allergic to the undeclared product.

Sainsbury's is urging those who have recently bought the Sainsbury’s 10 Vegetable Spring Roll Selection, 210g. use by between November 30 and December 8 to return them immediately.

A spokesman at Sainsbury's said: “If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to crustaceans, do not eat it. Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

"No other products (including frozen spring rolls) are affected by this issue and we apologise for the inconvenience."
