A RACING kart and trailer were stolen from a secure storage unit in Wool.
The Formula Blue karting kit and trailer were stolen from a unit on East Burton Road between Friday, February 20 and Sunday, March 1.
The Lynton Loadlugger 400 box trailer carried the number plate L7 MAH but the owner said that could be easily removed.
The kart itself was a 2014 Intrepid Kart with a unique Tillett race seat and 2013 body kit and stickers.
The thieves also made off with an awning, a toolbox, two boxes of fluids and a black box containing wet weather kit.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a call at 11.56am on Sunday, March 1 to reports of a theft in East Burton Road, Wool.
"A number of items was stolen including a white metal Loadlugger 400 box trailer which contained tools, kit and engine parts."
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Dorset Police on 101.
