Fire crews were called to a toaster fire last night.
Shortly after 9pm Dorset Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire in a kitchen in Dorchester.
Two appliances were mobilised and found that a toaster had caught fire but it was already out on their arrival.
The toaster had 100% damage by fire and there was a small amount of smoke logging to the kitchen.
The public are reminded never to leave a toaster unattended and not to use it directly under wall cupboards.
