Garden star Alan Titchmarsh coming to Dorset
GARDENER, broadcaster and novelist Alan Titchmarsh is coming to Dorset for an evening of 'gardening prose, poetry and anecdotes'.
He will be at The Crown Hotel in Blandford on Thursday, November 19 at 7pm in an event sponsored by The Gardens Group and raising money for the Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) The Soldiers’ Charity.
It is also being supported by Gillingham-based Orchard Park, with the two garden centre businesses joining forces to help ABF The Soldiers’ Charity raise as much money and awareness as possible.
Tickets cost £20, which includes refreshments, and are available from Blandford, Sherborne and Dorchester Tourist Information Centres, as well as ABF The Soldiers’ Charity’s office in Exeter.
