FASHION lovers will have a new place to shop in Dorchester as a fresh clothing store will be opening this weekend right in the heart of the town.

Mystique on Antelope Walk offers women and men's clothing and accessories from brands unique to Dorchester.

Joint business partners Liz Sadler and Nicky Churchill have been in the retail business for more than 20 years and felt there is a need for their new clothing store.

Nicky said: "We just feel that we know our customers and we know what they want and there is definitely a need in Dorchester for what we are selling.

"I really believe that age is just a number so we don't think are store is aimed as a specific range. One of our brands is Joe Brown and people from the age of 17 to 65 wear his clothing. We think there is something for everyone.

"We are also excited to have Smashed Lemon fashion, which is from the Netherlands. We went to Pure fashion event in London and Smashed Lemon was one of the best selling so we knew it would be a good choice.

"We have been posting a lot of things on social media and handing out leaflets and the response we have got has been really positive. And we think the location is great as the foot walk is always busy."

With the help of their husband and family members, the pair have transformed the shop from the bare bones in just three weeks.

Liz said: "We would like to thank all our friends and family who have supported us, with a special thanks to our husbands Regan and Sean and Nicky's brother Kevin for all their hard work."

The clothing store at five Antelope Walk will be opening tomorrow (Saturday) and shoppers will be welcomed with a glass of bubbly with the first 20 purchases receiving a goody bag with 10 per cent off their next purchase.
