TWO men have been charged following an incident in which a pedestrian died in a crash on a Weymouth road.

87-year-old Christopher Dursley, from Preston, died in the crash on Preston Beach Road back in October, after he was in collision with a motorbike as he crossed the road.

Mark James Dalgleish, 26 and of Dorchester, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and David Robert Dalgleish, 31, and also of Dorchester, has been charged with driving a motor vehicle dangerously.

Both men will appear before Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on March 7.

Following the crash, Mr Dursley's wife paid tribute to her husband, describing him as 'wonderful' and 'caring'.
