The fire was in Rosebury Gardens in Gillingham
FIRE crews were alerted to an electricity pole that was alight this morning.
Crews were called at 11.57am.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said: "A crew from Gillingham and a crew from Shaftesbury went to Rosebery Gardens in Gillingham.
"An electricity pole was well alight and the electricity board were in attendance.
"The fire was extinguished with the assistance of the electrical engineer."
