A number of roads in Blandford will be closed or partially closed on Bank Holiday Monday during the town’s Georgian Fayre.

The closures will be in place from 5am to 7pm, during which time the northern part of the normally one-way B3082 White Cliff Mill Street will be open to two-way traffic.

No waiting or parking will be allowed upon the highway in this area.

The closures will affect Bryanston Street, Salisbury Street, The Plocks, Church Lane, Market Place, West Street, East Street, Sheep Market Hill and The Close.

Marshals will be stationed at all barriers marking the closures.

The fayre - which includes stalls and exhibitions - has been held on the first Bank Holiday Monday in May for more than 24 years.

It attracts thousands of people and raises cash for local charities.
