WEYMOUTH Football Club will be “back to normal” operations tomorrow, according to a club director.
The club’s Bob Lucas Stadium in Radipole Lane was attacked by arsonists in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Mark Coleman, one of the club directors, said an electrician attended yesterday to assess the extent of the damage.
A caravan next to the main stand was destroyed in the attack, and there was also damage to cabling which runs to one of the pitch’s floodlights. Mr Coleman said: “There is minor damage to a cable but hopefully the electricians will be able to repair it by Wednesday morning, and we will be back to normal.”
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was deliberate. Dorset Police are investigating
