South Dorset MP Richard Drax and his wife Elsebet will be opening Highwood Gardens on the Charborough Estate to the public from 2.30pm-6pm on Bank Holiday Monday, May 7.
The afternoon will be organised and run by Portland St John Ambulance, which will benefit from all proceeds of the event.
Portland Division Superintendent Terry Shakespeare said: “We are all delighted at this splendid offer for fundraising made so generously to us by Richard Drax.
“This will give visitors a rare opportunity to visit the magnificent rhododendron and azalea walks and bluebell woods in Highwood Gardens.”
Admission to the gardens for adults will cost £4 and £2 for children under 16 years old.
Free parking will be available but no dogs are permitted within the gardens.
