THE Olympic Torch Relay evening celebration due to be held on Weymouth Beach will go ahead.
Weymouth and Portland Borough Council advises people attending tonight to dress for wet weather as rain is forecast.
Visitors are also urged to make use of the park and ride site at Mount Pleasant.
The gates to the beach site open at 4pm with the show expected to begin from 5.30pm.
Entertainment includes performances from rapper Wretch 32 and dance act Twist and Pulse.
