STOP smoking services across Dorset have helped more than 4,000 people kick the habit between April 2011 and the end of March 2012.
Figures just released show that across the South West a total of 36,226 smokers quit between April 2011 and March 2012. This is the highest number reported by local services and the third successive year that NHS South of England has actually beaten its target in the South West. Across the South West there is a network of convenient, local advisers who run free advice sessions and can offer practical support and guidance on the best methods to quit smoking.
