Disabled to benefit from lottery funding

A total of £75,000 in lottery funding has been won by Croydon Sports Partnership, the sports development arm of Croydon Council,, to help boost sports and recreational opportunities for local people with disabilities over the next three years.

Working with clubs, groups and individuals, the partnership will use the money provided from the Lottery Active Communities Development Fund to increase opportunities for those with disabilities to sample a variety of activities including athletics, swimming, basketball, judo and football.
