HI there, and Happy New Year to everyone.

It’s us again, William and Adam, and we’re pleased to say we’ve not only survived Christmas, but managed to find some peace during the festive period.

In fact, having enjoyed this feeling of peace so much, we’d both like more of it in 2015, bringing us nicely to our New Year resolutions.

When meeting to write this column, it was clear we wanted very similar things. I’m William and am keen to get fitter and healthier. As I have a lot of sugary drinks, my first step is to cut down on these. Instead, I’m already replacing them with water, low sugar drinks, milk and tea.

As for me, Adam, my girlfriend Ellie has had words. She’s told me I have to stop overstretching myself and that I’ve got to think about myself more. I know she is right, not just because she always is, but because it does feel like I’ve been on autopilot and doing too much, for some time.

And also, it’s a win-win situation. You see, if I look after number one, I feel better and am able to help others which I like doing – but only if I’m looking after myself.

Like William, I’m also going to eat healthier, especially more fruit. I was telling William how I had to buy another pair of trousers at Christmas because I’ve put on weight, and now want to lose it.

However it didn’t go too well at first. Last week I started eating a few clementines but got carried away and ate masses. Not only did I feel uncomfortably full, but mum said I’d might have overdosed on vitamin C!

Anyway, we both believe that by feeling healthier and fitter it will help us worry less and start to be more at peace with ourselves, not just in January, but throughout the year.

So just like the Lion King, we are going to have a new motto, Hakuna Matata – no worries, for the rest of our days – watch this space!
