THE much-awaited Apprentice has recently made a return to our TV screens for its eleventh series.

The stern, Lord Alan Sugar returns as the business dictator with the help of his two colleagues, Karren Brady and Claude Littner, who has replaced Nick Hewer.

This year, the 18 candidates are all quite young in comparison to other years.

My favourite was Ruth Whiteley who won me over with her multi-coloured suits and enthusiasm so as you would expect I was devastated when she was booted off the show.

Every year dedicated fans await for a double firing and this week fans were treated to a shock triple firing.

Elle, who was the youngest candidate was fired immediately after losing the task miserably and failing to impress Lord Sugar.

This was also the end of the road for April, who has been a little quiet since the first episode and failed to make much of an impact with fans.

Sadly this was also the end for much-loved Mergim, who Lord Sugar believed was just too young for the competition and despite his little slip-ups in this week he was told he should never give up on his dreams. He also added that the two will stay in contact. I'm hoping this isn't the last we hear of Mergim.

This series has been said to be the toughest one yet with contestants already having to haggle market traders for top-quality fish, sell products at a national pet show and be a handy-man for the day.

Lord Sugar is definitely an inspiration to young people like myself and he has proved that anything is possible.
