SOCIAL media has gone mad over the latest adorable pictures of Prince George on his first day of nursery.

Prince George was photographed by his mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, in front of a large, colourful mural.

William and Kate took their son to the Westacre Montessori School nursery on Wednesday as his education formally began.

Two pictures taken of the two-year-old have been released to mark the occasion and they show the future king standing outside the school buildings near the royal couple's Norfolk home, Anmer Hall.

I will admit that I am a huge fan of the Royal Family and I think they have become increasingly popular since the marriage of William and Kate.

And with the arrival of Prince George and Princess Charlotte how can anyone not be drawn to click on the link and view the families most recent photos.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also released a family photograph for Christmas today giving a rare snapshot of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

In a following article about the picture it was drawn to the public's attention that they are like any other normal family - with George looking as though he is about to pounce on his toy train on the grass and Charlotte's pink shoe, which had fallen off her foot, next to the toy.

I think sometimes people forget that the Royal Family are human beings. And I'm sure now Kate is a mother-of-two she could relate to a lot of other 'ordinary' mothers - obviously not in every way - but I bet there are more similarities than people think.

Like many others I eagerly await the next adorable snap of the future king.
