JUST minutes away from the Jurassic coastline and the charming beauty of Lulworth Cove, the annual family orientated Camp Bestival proves that you are never too young to attend a festival.

The 2016 space-themed event was perhaps more catered to child-friendly entertainment than ever before.

There were, however, acts tailored to an adult audience including the likes of Jess Glynne, the headliner on the first night of the festival.

For years, this event has been a regular summer holiday fixture among all ages due to its ability to be family friendly as well as being a festival that entertains young adults like myself.

It takes the serious residential setting of Lulworth Castle and mixes it with the abstract nature of fancy dress, creative staging and shows and an incredible dose of silliness, resulting in it winning awards for ‘best child-friendly experience’ year after year.

As a first time visitor to the Camp Bestival experience, I enjoyed how open the area was, allowing for vast amounts of food and entertainment to occupy the surroundings.

These elements helped to provide enjoyment for people of all ages, combined with the weather being on our side amidst a week of clouds and showers.

Camp Bestival once again proved that it is one of the best festivals to visit for a great family day out.
