Why do we hardly ever get any snow in Weymouth? Why?
I mean, come on. Kids want something to enjoy while they are outside but oh no, we have green grass and fresh flowers in the middle of winter.
I guess it’s not all bad for everyone. My little cousins get snow most of the time - in winter, anyway. But, here in Weymouth, hot water bottles and hot chocolates aren’t needed or even given a second thought.
So, yeah, we need snow.
To make things even worse, I opened my bedroom window this morning – to let in some fresh air- and a bumblebee flew in instead.
I guess it must have woken up as it’s warm - without the snow. To do this it must have bee-n confused.
“What is snow?”, people will soon be asking. “What is this white substance that is falling from the sky?”
The number of times Weymouth has gone without snow, we might as well wipe the idea from our existence.
Or maybe, just maybe, it might be be easier if we make our own snow.
