Archery is not a very common sport.

If you were to go into the centre of Dorchester and do a survey about what sport people play the most popular answer would probably be football, rugby or maybe nothing.

The number of people who would say archery would be almost none.

The reason for this is that the first thing to come to mind would be sports that are more common.

As for the people that don’t play sport, it might be because they do not like playing in a team.

For those people, archery would be a great option as it is an individual sport. At this time, you may well be wondering ‘why should I do archery?’

If you do not enjoy kicking a ball around in a cold field in the rain, then archery is for you.

If you do not play well in a team, then you’re in luck as archery does not require teamwork. If you think you are focused, determined and precise, then consider joining an archery club.

In conclusion, archery is a fun sport with many advantages and I highly recommend you go and try it for yourself.

Now go and search online about clubs near you.
