You must admit, you’d hate to walk into a loo and see that someone had not flushed it, right?

Well, how is that any different to seeing dog leftovers in the street? You would think people would have the decency to clean it up.

I bet most of you reading this are dog owners - or you at least know someone who owns a dog - and sometimes even I forget that wonderful doggy bag. It happens to all of us.

But when I walk down the road to school each morning, there is a new ‘present’ on the street.

Soon I, and many others, may have to cross over just because of that.

At the minute, many people are taking a stand against litter on the cliffs of Portland and the beaches of Dorset.

They are asking the public to help clean up rubbish. But we can’t go around cleaning up dog mess, can we? So what could we do instead?

What’s a safer, environmentally friendly option? I believe we should add more bins - as many people have nowhere to put any of their rubbish - and along with those bins have bags, so that if your dog does go, then have no fear - a bag is near.

I believe this could keep our clean and it is a safer alternative to just leaving it.
