Traveller site is a travesty
May I suggest our council- lors join with the local residents at the proposed area for a permanent travellers site in a planned demons- tration where we intend to chant: “What do we want? A travellers site! When do we want it? Now!”
That this attractive site should even be considered is indicative of the attitude of the governing bodies to Weymouth.
You know the kind of attitude: close the AUWE dockyard, heliport, prison, army camp, rescue helicopter, and to say nothing of the future of Land Registry and the ferry.
However, they will build a permanent traveller's site.
