The amount of traffic in Weymouth, cutting through Cross Road as an alternative to sitting at the lights at Boot Hill, has increased ten fold.

Motorists have realised that they can shave minutes off their journey, but due to mothers parking on double lines and young children running out from behind these vehicles, it has become a danger spot, and now motorists are using Brewers Quay and Rodwell rather than going up Boot Hill.

Not only have pollution levels rocketed due to the constant stationary traffic, minor roads have become rat runs around these dinosaurs.

When will somebody stand up and demand the roundabouts back?
