Now that it is flu season yet again, may I respectfully remind everyone that the best way to avoid catching the flu is to keep out of chemist shops and doctor's surgeries.

These places tend to be full of people coughing and sneezing and rarely bothering to use a tissue to trap the germs – preferring to spread them about instead.

And if you decide to go to a doctor’s surgery for a flu jab, please remember that your doing so will earn the doctor a few quid. And you may or may not end up in bed with the flu.
