My husband was walking into town via Park Street when a lady in a wheelchair asked him to move bins that were blocking her path.
He then came across a young girl with a pushchair who had to manoeuvre the pushchair into the road to pass bins blocking the pavement. Did the council plan-ners even think about this when they issued all these bins? Our recycling seemed to work quite well before they changed the system to this chaos.
I believe people will not recycle eventually as they are so fed up with the present system as it is.
Weymouth is becoming Bin Alley. What a good advert for a seaside town who rely on visitors.
Try thinking again planners and this time use a bit of grey matter.
