Regarding the poor showing over the proposed plans to Weymouth harbour side. Can you understand why there was some 90 people put in their thoughts and 50,000 did not bother.

Is it because there is such a mistrust at the bough council and if anyone opposes any plans they are not listened too and over ridden any way. lets just take a look at the Tescos on Portland and how many people opposed that only to be told by the planning chief that we were having it whether we wanted it or not!

The same with the ugly and down right white wash of the Officers field which again was unwanted by the people but forced to have it. I could go on about any major work in the area in which the council take it upon them selves to not be democratic and put up what they want with little or no consultation anyway.

So if people did oppose any new building on the harbour it would be white washed because the council want it and no one will stand in their way. So what is the point of putting anything in to them as they will take no notice anyway, hence such apathy towards the council.
