ON SATURDAY, July 11 around 11am, whilst walking along the seafront, our brother-in-law had a seizure and collapsed, (he’d never had one before). May we, on his behalf please thank all those involved in assisting us at the time.

From the kind lady who called the ambulance, and another lady who stayed with us offering advice, and the several more people who stopped and offered to help.

The Dorset Fire and Rescue service who just happened to be passing and stopped to offer their assistance, and held a screen to shield him from the sun.

Special thanks for the quick arrival of the paramedics and their professional care and reassurance. When the ambulance arrived he was taken to DCH where he received prompt treatment of tests and a CT scan. He was discharged later in the day.

He is now back home in Hampshire recovering.
