IF HUMANS stopped throwing food to seagulls which they have done for decades the gulls would then seek their food supply elsewhere.

Also the litter bins are brimming and need to be emptied in the high season more often. (That is why urban foxes have grown in numbers as a lot of sad humans don’t like that either sadly.)

As usual it is the HUMANS that are at fault.

A simple common sense solution is a ban on feeding the seagulls then they seek their natural food in the sea. (Of course a lot of the seas are overfished - humans again.).

I bought my house (it was near derelict) from a wildlife pioneer as I love wildlife/animals/environment.

I have three grandchildren and they love the wildlife, they understand the natural world as they are being educated to respect it. That is what is needed desperately now because of technology just being on the iPads/iPhones. Get out and enjoy the natural world.
