Wogan's winner
WHAT a wonderful advert for Weymouth Terry Wogan’s television programme was on Monday night! It’s about time we had some positivity, and he didn’t have a bad word to say about our lovely town. When he filmed, the sun was shining and Weymouth looked at its best with its beautiful buildings, seafront and harbour.
This programme did more for Weymouth in half an hour than the Olympics did in three weeks.
I do hope our council representatives saw this programme and start to build on what we have and don’t try to make Weymouth something it isn’t.
