SO SANDI Toksvig is to be invited back to Weymouth so Councillor Jason Osborne can show her how the town has improved since her comments 20 years ago.
One can only hope she does not accept his offer while the beach in such a sorry state.
What would she say? She would never believe the beach has been voted one of the best in Europe.
The seaweed covering the sand and pebbles is an eyesore and the terrible smell pervades the entire town.
I know the summer is over, but what about the poor residents?
I know the beach only gets cleaned daily during the summer and I realise that the tides bring in the seaweed, but I have never known it as bad as this in autumn. It would be lovely if it could be cleaned up.
