THERE is one very easy way to put an end to the practice of avoiding taxation on obscene amounts of cash hidden out of reach by people who want to contribute nothing to the environment. They are human parasites of the worst kind.

By international agreement let's put the banks in every tax haven 'out of bounds' to banks outside and make it illegal to 'launder' cash from such places. In short, they would be unable to carry on business.

To move any cash back into the general global financial community, account holders in the tax havens would have to pay a tax on any bank transfers. I would think 20% payable to the government of the countries where the culprits are resident would be appropriate!

We'll put the NHS back in the black within months.
