YOU wait too long to consult on the work needed on the West Stafford bypass and as a result the work doesn’t start until winter sets in. Guess what? It rains heavily and floods again.
Even now the councillor responsible talks about it being the cheapest and a short term option.
What we want is a long term solution not a ‘sticking plaster’ option.
