Very easily offended folk with nothing better to do
I AM intrigued by those pitiable folk whose pastime and pleasure is Being Very Offended.
Recently, I was told that some people do not like a traditional Christmas carol, as they regard its first line God rest You Merry, Gentlemen, as being sexist.
I suppose they never eat Gentlemen’s Relish, or allow ladybirds into their gardens.
No doubt, the topical terms Black Friday and White Christmas soon will be banned as being racist, Snow White and Black Beauty never again must delight children and I wonder which supermarket will be the first to remove all traces of black pudding from its shelves?
