A TIRED old piece of opinionated 20th century thinking from Richard Drax MP. (Echo, Nov 26) about the legalisation of cannabis.
Mr Drax is out of step with social and medical arguments.
His final statement “Not if I can help it” is a diatribe that we have heard so often from this government.
MPs have no longer represented the views of their constituents but allow their ill-founded prejudices to be their political mantras.
Come down off the cross Mr Drax, we need the wood.
