AS PREVIOUSLY offered to a Councillor and a Cafe owner at Bowleaze I will gladly walk the length of Weymouth beach and back with anybody at anytime with my dog to find the hoards of dog excrement they claim to be there.

Today (Thursday) as most days I did this walk and did not see any mess what's so ever.

I like most dog owners always spot and eye up the owners of dogs who are fowling (force of habit) and each and every time I have witnessed it being picked up and placed in a bin.

Whilst it does not matter to those who are anti dog what I write (other than to incense them), it is their loss that they cannot relate to a man's best friend, as they would quickly realise that canines could teach them and their families so much!

As for Francis Drake who I am unable to call councillor as it appears to me he does not represent the local community, he stated that the majority of people voted in favour of the recent changes to by-laws in Weymouth & Portland

This is of course factually “incorrect”!

He also stated that Children, Dogs and sand do not mix.

Well Mr Drake come down from your planet and spend a day on the sands at Weymouth Beach to see all the Children with their Dogs, along with Family's and Visitors mixing happily, walking and playing in utmost joy and in appreciation of such a stunning place.

Mr Drake if there is dog excrement all over the pavements, do your job and deal with it by having your ill spent, ultimately taxpayers Private Wardens, patrol those areas dishing out high fines for those lowlife culprits.

Don't use the easy brownie point scoring route by scaremongering and voicing untruths about respectful dog owners and their dogs on Weymouth beach.
