SIX months after the referendum we have the so called celebrities still talking about another one.

The last one gave the wrong decision according to them, I believe that the people in high places created a fear of leaving the EU which was not justified.

From past experiences we know that politicians spout on with absurd statements so that they will get your vote.

Really their main interest is their own pay packet.

If these Remainers had not kept warning the voters, the final outcome would have been a very much higher percentage in favour of leaving.

We now have proof that the end of the world did not happen.

In fact it has been the opposite.

The stock market has risen more than it has for a few years.

Jobs have been created. Yes, some prices have gone up, but businesses are always looking for excuses to improve profits but customer demand or lack of demand will eventually adjust this situation.

I honestly believe some politicians and some remainers who wanted to stay in, must have ulterior motives to continue their battle against the wishes of the electorate For instance, Mr Blair is willing to use ten million pounds of his own money towards getting a different result and there is the woman who is going to the high court trying to do the same.

Then there are the High Court Judges who are going to make a decision.

I don’t remember them being involved when Mr Major signed the treaty in Holland when he refused to let us, the voters, have a say regarding the UK joining the European Union as opposed to our membership only of the European Market.

Let us look at a few facts,

1. Nissan cars: 40 per cent owned by the French company Renault.

They want to stay producing cars in the UK.

A high percentage of the parts are imported from France and plus there are fewer problems with the unions here as opposed to France.

2. We import a billion pounds worth of wine mainly from Europe.

We are the biggest customers for the grape growers, and the wine bottle and cork manufacturers.

They need our market to survive.

Any British business would be delighted to have such a flourishing market.

The French want to buy our Stock Exchange because it is a very good money-making business.

When we hear the critics of Brexit and remember their doomsday scenarios, we must remember that just because they are MPs, or you have seen them in a film, or they are the head of the Bank of England, or ex -Prime Ministers or Chancellor of the Exchequer, it does not mean they are right .

We have had a few politicians who have become very rich out of the European Union. It was not called the Brussels gravy train for nothing.
