I would like to say a big thank you to the kind people who rang for an ambulance and who I believe stayed with me until they arrived.
I am a female cyclist who had a brake issue at the top of Boot Hill at the junction of Wyke Road at approx 6.15am on Friday, April 20.
I hit the kerb as I was trying to manoeuvre my bike up Wyke Road to slow it down after my bike had failed to stop at the traffic lights at the junction of Rodwell Road.
Unfortunately I have little recollection of the events between hitting the kerb and being put into the ambulance having had a blow to the head but thank goodness I was wearing my helmet.
Can you help fill in the gaps or know someone who was there?
Please be assured I am not looking for witnesses for any sort of claim or anything like that I would just like some further info that might assist with my ongoing treatment.
Please contact me via the Echo at letters@dorsetecho.co.uk or by phone at 01305 830999.
