YESTERDAY Bert and Lillian celebrated 60 years of marriage. Their many friends at the Gardening Club and other villagers send their very best wishes.

THIS Saturday a Parish Breakfast is being held at 8.15am in the Church Centre. Marc and Pauline Nelson from the Parsonage House will be telling us about their work with Wycliffe Bible Translators.

TUESDAY evenings at 7.30pm is your opportunity to play bowls in the Church Centre. They are a very friendly group. No experience is needed.

WEDNESDAY evening and the Village Produce Association have a talk in the Village Hall entitled Tales From The Film Industry at 8pm. All are invited.

GARDENING Club members are reminded subscriptions are now due and can be renewed at the trading store in Beech Tree Road any Sunday in January from 10am to midday. The trading store has recently been refurbished and the stock is greater, with room to browse. Take a morning to go and have a look, you will be pleasantly surprised.

THURSDAY afternoon at 2pm, the Women's Fellowship group, which meets in the Church Centre, have a speaker, David Cox, who is a retired headmaster and lately Chairman of Wycombe District Council. All are welcome.

FRIDAY at 10.30am in the Church Centre, a warm welcome for you at the Link Up self-help bereavement group.

TAI Chi classes are being held on Saturday mornings, 10am to midday, in the Rossetti Hall. Ring Lin on 01494 562037 for more details.

THE British Legion Club in Beech Tree Road have started their entertainment nights. The first evening is on Saturday, January 26, when a singing duo named KE2 will be on stage at 8.15pm. Cost is £2 and everybody is welcome.
