ST John's Church and School are holding a May Ball and already tickets have been completely sold out, and there are 50 people on the waiting list. Those who are missing the band, three-course meal and champagne reception will be pleased to know that another ball will be held in July in connection with the Queen's Golden Jubilee. Also in the pipeline is a children's disco in early July, when a Carnival Queen will be chosen for the Village Day on Saturday, July 13.
